Two of the top engineering firms in the solar + energy storage industry have joined forces!
Why did we do it?
That’s the direction the industry has taken us!
In the past, the PPE and PVP engineering teams were kept separate to ensure no conflicts of interest when:
-
A Developer/EPC would hire Pure Power as the Engineer of Record (EOR) for the design & drawings.
-
An Owner/Financer would hire PV Pros as its Owners Engineer (OE) or Lender’s Independent Engineer (IE).
Today, an overwhelming number of our clients are both developers and owners, needing both Owner's Engineering & EOR design services. Potential “conflicts of interest” isn't a concern since PPE, PVP, and our clients are on the same side with the same goals.
Therefore, to enhance collaboration and maximize the impact for our clients, we are bringing it all together under Pure Power Engineering!
What does this mean for Pure Power clients?
-
Some technical due diligence will be provided with our EOR & design services at no additional cost.
-
Clients get streamlined access to a full suite of Owner's Engineering services:
a. Full project Lifecycle Technical Due Diligence & De-Risking
b. EPC Contract & Technical Exhibit Review
c. Equipment Evaluation
d. Commissioning plan & Review of Results
e. Field Engineering (Milestone & Quality Reviews)
f. Energy Modeling (bankable PVsyst) and Performance Testing (ASTM E2848 & NREL PR)
What does this mean for PV Pros clients?
-
Day-to-day business will remain unchanged; only now all operations will fall under the Pure Power name.
-
PV Pros clients can continue to communicate with the same team that they have relied on in the past, only now its overall operations will be enhanced by Pure Power’s unrivaled experience and expertise, large in-house engineering team, high-quality drawings and reports, and nationwide footprint.
When will this happen?
-
On Jan 1st we successfully completed the legal, accounting, IT, and HR aspects of the acquisition.
-
Over the next 6 months, PVP’s services will be seamlessly integrated into Pure Power.
Thanks to all our clients over the past 11 years that enabled us to grow and be in the position to expand our services and the value we provide.
Cheers to an exciting 2023!
